repress - aller guten dinge sind drei. shuko & f. of audiotreats sind wieder da. im rucksack haben sie den dritten teil der cookies & cream -serie. seit der letzten cookies & cream lp ist vor allem bei platin-produzent shuko wieder viel passiert. der gebürtige mainzer, der im letzten jahr mit produktionen für talib kweli und für die platinalben von 1995, sowie sexion d assault glänzte, konnte auch dieses jahr wieder edelmetall in seinem studioflur auhängen. es enstanden produktionen für den rap-shooting star cro, die nr. 1-Überraschung des sommers, genetikk und das jbg2-album der gangstar-rap supergroup kollegah & farid bang, dass in der ersten woche mehr als 80.000 einheiten über selfmade records verkaufte. außerdem enstanden kollaborationen mit dem westcoast-mc blu für eine weitere jakarta records veröffentlichung als limitierte 10inch und beiträge auf dem aktuellen ra the rugged man album. f von den audiotreats hat in der vergangenheit für künstler wie chima, dendemann und joy denalane produktionen beigesteuert. cookies & cream 3 fügt sich nahtlos in die reihe der beiden vorgänger lps ein. soulfull und feingliedrige hip hop-beats als instrumentale, die auch auf albumlänge funktionieren. ein deutscher beitrag zu der z.zt florierenden beatscene, die weltweit die aufmerksamkeit der major labels erweckt. die vinylversion des albums ist auf 300 kopien limitiert.

this project started during the 2007 winter music conference when mr. marquez dropped there a selfmade bootleg of michael jacksons billie jean called mikelata and it was a pure happiness feeling on the dancefloors. 1 year later rocco, danny marques & dj fudge got together for a serious studio session with the perfect voice for this production: ricky galliano, a swiss based party and nightlife personality. the project was ready months before one of the sadest day of musics history happened: michael jackson passed away. now we changed the project in a tribute for the king of pop.
